About
Viña Tarapacá was set up in 1874 and is one of Chile’s oldest wineries with 145 years of tradition and experience of producing Chilean wine.
Our wines are the result of our commitment to protect the biodiversity of our vineyard, which is situated in a naturally formed clos in the heart of Chile’s prestigious Maipo Valley. This biodiversity gives our wines unrivalled quality.
Wine Making
The grapes for this wine were harvested in the third week of April, following the historical average. Harvesting involved manual picking in 14 kg bunches early in the morning. Upon arrival at the winery, a meticulous cluster selection was performed. A 3-day pre-fermentative cold maceration at 10 °C preceded the alcoholic fermentation, initiated by native yeasts and supplemented with selected yeast (F10) at 4° of alcohol. The 10-day fermentation maintained a low temperature of 25 °C to preserve black fruit and vegetable notes. Pump-overs were conducted based on daily tastings for robust tannin extraction. Post- fermentation maceration lasted 14 days, followed by 12 months of aging. Seventy percent aged in 300-liter fine grain French barrels (20% new), while the remaining 30% aged in 3,500-liter lightly toasted French oak foudres.

How much is the delivery?
We're pleased to offer FREE delivery for all orders over $150! That means you can enjoy the convenience of shopping with us from the comfort of your own home, without having to worry about any additional delivery charges.
For orders under $150, we charge a small delivery fee of $15 for 1 day delivery and $18 for same day delivery. We believe this is a fair and affordable price that allows us to continue providing our customers with exceptional service and high-quality products.
Can I cancel my order?
We understand that sometimes mistakes happen, and you may have ordered the wrong wine or made a mistake with your order.

Please note that exchanges are only available before delivery. If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us before the cut-off time at 9am. If you cancel your order before the cut-off time, we'll be happy to refund your order, minus a cancellation fee of $15. However, if your order has already been dispatched for delivery, a cancellation fee of $20 will apply.
Can I do self-collection?
Unfortunately no, as our products are all stored in a secured warehouse with minimum supervision, self-collection will not be possible.
