About:
The Massena Stonegarden Grenache 2019 is a remarkable wine hailing from the Eden Valley, South Australia, crafted from bush vines planted around 1858.
Harvested in two parcels from the purest planting of Grenache on the historic vineyard. The first parcel is destemmed into a ceramic egg and aged on skins for several months to extract a fine grain tannin structure. The second parcel is fermented as whole bunches and foot stomped over a period of two weeks giving a broader grainier tannin profile. A fine acid balance is the hallmark of this vineyard and combined with a fine boned structure will ensure this Grenache is constantly evolving as it ages.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: Awarded 97 points by Erin Larkin, who praised its mineralogy and graphite tannins, highlighting the unique qualities of the Eden Valley terroir.
James Halliday’s Wine Companion, 2021. 96 Points: “Old bush vines planted in 1857 prove they still have the X-factor. One batch of fruit destemmed and popped into a ceramic egg on skins for several months (not specified) then into used puncheons; the second batch, whole-bunch fermented in used puncheons. Happy to report this is a sterling drink. It has poise, incredibly velvety tannins, a suppleness and beautiful fruit, which is the very heart of this wine.”

- Nose: Complex bouquet featuring fennel seeds, pepper, blackberries, Hungarian salami, pink peppercorns, pencil shavings, raspberry pip, salted licorice, black cherries, and cocoa powder.
- Palate: Full-bodied with a deep, dark, and tannic profile, balanced by a creamy mid-palate that enhances approachability. The wine exhibits serious depth with a long, spice-driven finish.

How much is the delivery?
We're pleased to offer FREE delivery for all orders over $150! That means you can enjoy the convenience of shopping with us from the comfort of your own home, without having to worry about any additional delivery charges.
For orders under $150, we charge a small delivery fee of $15 for 1 day delivery and $18 for same day delivery. We believe this is a fair and affordable price that allows us to continue providing our customers with exceptional service and high-quality products.
Can I cancel my order?

Please note that exchanges are only available before delivery. If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us before the cut-off time at 9am. If you cancel your order before the cut-off time, we'll be happy to refund your order, minus a cancellation fee of $15. However, if your order has already been dispatched for delivery, a cancellation fee of $20 will apply.
Can I do self-collection?
Unfortunately no, as our products are all stored in a secured warehouse with minimum supervision, self-collection will not be possible.
